Position Description
Salary: 45-50K basic and uncapped OTE
Location: Greater London
Our client is a dynamic enabler of entertainment, information and interaction services in the ever-evolving mobile media environment and they are looking for a self motivated Business Development Manager.
Purpose of Job:
1. To develop and manage specified Enterprise accounts and to introduce new business opportunities within the corporate Enterprise sector.
2. To ensure high customer satisfaction levels and all aspects of service quality are achieved for specific margin targets.
Responsibilities and duties:
• Develop new clients through lead generation into a continuous pipeline with a wide remit of prospecting which means (research, networking, key account development, exhibitions)
• Develop quarterly sales plans/budgets – Set own goals, agree with MD yearly targets and review on quarterly basis
• Managing resources by co-ordinating resources between our client’s and the customer’s functional organisations and sub contractors to establish an integrated service offering
• Define and negotiate customer contracts, Service Level Agreements understanding client and internal dependencies to ensure a commercially viable service
• Account management (key accounts)
Key Performance Indicators:
• Hitting and exceeding agreed targets
• New account development
• High generating revenue accounts with maximum margin profitability
• Client satisfaction – feedback, contract renewal, range extensions
Experience, Qualifications and Technical Knowledge:
• Degree standard, good general standard of education
• Success driven
• High consultancy focus – demonstrative consultative solution selling experience, full understanding of the software sales cycle and the complexities or product propositions
• Proven track record/demonstrable ability of identifying, growing and developing key accounts.
• Sound commercial acumen, knowledge of mobile/telecoms industry advantageous
• Able to demonstrate ownership and setting of own goals with continued self development and management
• Proven experience of reaching and exceeding sales targets and maximising profit margins
• Thorough understanding of need to take responsibility and ownership for success of client
• Proven abilities and keenness in networking around the content services arena
