Position Description
CTO, Dallas, TX area
Our client is a well funded small growth mode provider of enhanced inter-operator messaging solutions. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a growing organization that will create long term success by developing new, cutting edge messaging products.
Responsibilities:
• Improve development processes and organizational structure.
• Lead and grow teams of engineers nationally and internationally to develop new products and expand on existing product line.
• Set up product roadmaps and support business development process.
• Prioritize and implement projects.
• Contributing Member of the Executive Team.
Skills:
• 10+ years senior management experience within a developer of wireless software applications a MUST.
• Must have experience in building a team of engineers.
• International experience (Asia) a plus
• Experience with Java, Perl, C/C++, Oracle and Myself databases, SIP, SMPP, SMTP, Media Gateways, SMS/MMS, CDMA IS-41, GSM MAP, WAP Push.
• Knowledge of implementation processes from scratch.
• Leadership & vision.
• Strategic & tactical decision making.
• Creative problem solving.
• A decision maker with strong interpersonal skills.
Education:
• MSEE preferred.
Compensation:
• $200k-$260k base, + up to 35% yearly bonus, ownership shares, health insurance, vacation
