Job Title: Security Analyst III

Designs, develops and administers business security systems and processes to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of Andrew Corporation’s information resources. Participates in security planning and provides input on the selection of methods used to ensure the protection of the Company’s systems and data.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Process Analyst, training personnel and project groups to design and develop appropriate role-based security for the production environment including role definition, job/position mapping, requirements gathering, approval acquisition, assessment, design, configuration and testing activities.
- Provide support to Andrew Corporation’s global enterprise, including 24 hour availability required solution response throughout implementation efforts and Go-Live activities. Troubleshoot user ID and access problems throughout Business Application environments, including daily project configuration activities and unit and integration testing, implementation and post implementation support.
- Work with Process Analysts and Data Owners to define appropriate Segregation of Duties rules and maintain rules on monitoring software.
- Develop and maintain mechanisms for users to request access and the Data Owner to approve such requests. Reviews access requests for approvals, and compliance to business rules. Maintain accurate record of access requests, Data Owners, and access approvers, covering all platforms and secured business applications, for use in reporting to management.
- Assist in identifying security risks and exposures by participating in security reviews, evaluations and risk assessments. Investigate security incidents and maintain accurate records for management review.
- Assist in developing information protection processes to support various aspects of the company’s Global Information Security program.
Education/Experience:
- B.S in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field preferred;
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in SAP Security;
- Should have SAP experience with knowledge of Profile Generator;
- Solid understanding of information security projects and implementation with experience in the development of information security policies, standards, processes, and risk analysis;
- Background in project development and management; Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with critical thinking abilities;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of communicating technical and security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff;
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills capable of interfacing with technical administrators, senior IT and business management;
- Must approach issuesand projects with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, innovation and quality;
- Security certification with a major security certification organization (e.g., Certification for the Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC);
