Position Description

Meteor/Pliq is seeking an action-oriented Sales Director to focus on delivering creative mobile solutions to brands and agencies. The successful candidate is expected to call on their network of connections within large/medium/small brands and at advertising and marketing agencies, as well as cold call prospecting. Candidate will need to understand brands’ key business needs and develop a compelling package that delivers business-building solutions through mobile. Mobile is the leading edge of new world marketing with exciting prospects to reach individual consumers. The Pliq Sales Director will need to be an ambitious and forward-thinking leader for today’s brands.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have worked at a mobile agency or technology provider in a sales or business development role selling the company’s services to brands and agencies. Alternatively, the candidate has worked at an advertising or marketing agency in the interactive or advanced media group selling and implementing solutions for brands in mobile or broadband.
Skills:
• Ability to consultatively sell, articulate a conceptual solution, overcome objections and close a mutually beneficial deal
• Technically savvy
• Understanding of the digital space eco system and technologies (mobile preferred)
• Can create own PowerPoint presentations and Excel documents
• A door opener & deal closer
