Position Description

Major Responsibilities
A requirements manager’s primary responsibility is to assist Boost’s cross functional teams with eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements for products, services and operational improvements; including exploring, understanding and documenting the underlying user experience design aspects/flows and ensuring that the stated requirements can achieve overall design expectations. The RM responsibilities include the facilitation of requirements gathering sessions in order to establish a well rounded and comprehensive scope of requirements with traceability from business requirements to functional requirements. The RM is also responsible for ensuring that that a level of quality and consistency is maintained for all requirements from pre-concept through deployment and will be required to document all requirements in Boost’s requirement management data repository. The RM is also responsible for working with Boost’s Product Line Team, Program Teams and other cross functional teams to ensure appropriate sign-off is obtained and communicated.

Minimum Qualifications
• B.S. degree in computer related field, Interaction Design/Human Factors or related field/experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably prepaid.
• Experience working with requirements management solutions such as:
- IBM RequisitePro*, Telelogic Fastrak, Telelogic Doors or Borland Caliber
• Ability to aggressively lead discussions for internal and external resources.
• Ability to manage and prioritize efforts and manage personal work load
• Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic environment with fix due dates.
• Strong communication, written and organizational skills are needed to facilitate organizational requirements from Boost’s cross functional teams.
• Ability to understand complex product, service and operational behaviors from both a business and technical aspect.
• Ability to address Interaction Experience Design requirements and ensure that they can be integrated as a part of the functional requirements
• Ability to manage requirements, tasks and documents related to multiple independent or dependent projects/programs.

Preferred Attributes
• Ability to understand OSS architectures in order to identify and communicate impacts for requirements
• Experience working in the field of User Experience Design
• Experience in all phases of the SDLC for large and complex projects.
