Position Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Advisor to join a company at the cutting edge of the mobile wireless & internet industry. This is a challenging technical/customer support role where you will get involved in ongoing & proactive support as well as day-to-day customer service and inbound troubleshooting queries.
The job:
• Analyze customer inquiries and thinking outside the box to provide them with the best solution
• Provide first and second line technical support and handle escalation of issues
• Account management for corporate clients, including pre-sales support
• Contribute to maintaining and improving our global service processes
• Interpret and support industry compliance regulations
• Help maintain and update product & service information
• Keep up to date with technical developments affecting the systems in a fast moving industry
About you:
• Previous customer service/support experience at a mid-senior level within a technology based environment essential.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, WML, CSS and PHP is essential
• Experience in the US mobile industry with Carriers, Developers and/or Content Providers is preferred
• Able to deal with the pressure of juggling several priorities at once
• Must have fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, fluency in Spanish an advantage
• College Degree preferred
• Skilled at Microsoft Office a must
