Responsibilities:
Portfolio and product requirements
definition for the European market
adapter, embedded and software.
-Provide input and direction to
European product strategy
-Gather and assimilate competitive
information into product feature and
pricing decisions.
-Provide input and direction to the
European product roadmap
-Assess and determine an appropriate
channel strategy
-Build relationships with key carrier
customers in marketing, product
launch, retail departments
-Provide direction to engineering MOL
activity for Europe requirements
-Build, validate and prioritize
European features into the feature
funnel process for adapter, embedded
and software products
-Identify and prioritize new
opportunities in segments, solutions
and customers
-Generate and drive product concept
reviews, business case and contract
books for European representation
Requirements:
-Must have strong English language
skills, and preferably French, German
and Spanish as well
-Extensive contacts within tier 1 and
tier 2 wireless carriers – strong
relationships are critical
-Knowledge of the wireless industry and
technology, preferably with cellular
handsets
-Solid presentation and analytical
skills
-Proven experience in product and
product portfolio management, product
strategy, channel strategy, wireless
device marketing and positioning
