Summary of Role

Our client is a leading Music Production company and they recuire new person for their digital tam. This is a Customer Relations Manager delivery role, requiring a person with account management skills, ability to think strategically and excellence in both technical and creative execution. The person will lead the email marketing effort for our client’s internal clients, ensuring artists, marketing and sales staff have the knowledge, applications and systems to utilise CRM in effectively creating value for their customers and developing long term relationships.

The long term goals for the CRM Manager are to:

- Collaborate with the labels to develop effective best practice email marketing strategies and tactical communications plans to optimise customer acquisition, customer engagement, gain customer insight and drive revenue and retention.
- Working with digital marketers to integrate email marketing and D2C (Direct to consumer); developing creative and making suggestions for segmentation and testing.
- Assess the ongoing performance of CRM
- Provide data to D2C management team on request
- Fulfil research and administration tasks on request

Responsibilities

CRM Account management

- Provide support to our client’s marketing and sales team in regard to their specific CRM campaigns. Managing the process of email execution from creative development through to reporting and feedback to ensure optimal performance of the department
- Provide ongoing strategic support to their staff
- Maintain knowledge of CRM and related activities across all artist sites
- Provide Marketing with new insights into their fans based on customer data and turn that insight into improvements in CRM programmes
- Ensure all staff have the tools to position CRM in their discussions both internally and with agencies/artists/management.
- Ensure data is collected in line with existing standards and analysed efficiently
- Create and support dashboards and apps for all staff so that they can track and gain insight from customer behaviour effectively and efficiently
- Provide campaign analysis for all online and direct marketing activities in the UK.

D2C Marketing Insight

- Development of insight programmes
- Regular communication and knowledge sharing with research teams
- Design best practice guidelines and apps
- Create a deck of example campaigns for achieving specific CRM goals (acquisition, insight, product development, product/service sales, customer services, reward/loyalty)
- Information mining from database
- Data analysis and forecasting
- Conduct research and analysis programs for D2C Management team on request
- Provide ongoing behaviour, product, service and revenue dashboards to D2C management team, accompanied by recommendations
- Create succinct management dashboards for D2C team and upper management
- Define and analyse KPIs in order to optimise and streamline all activities carried out by the labels and / or centrally, and to develop a reusable blueprint and methodology.

CRM Tools

- Gain advanced understanding of Silverpop, our client’s CMS systems and Omniture in order to consult on CRM strategy and implementation plans
- Conduct training on CRM and CRM tools through workshops
- Ensure all current and new sites (artist sites, label sites and stores) are tagged properly in Omniture. This includes liaising with developers inc QA to ensure consistency across the entire site roster.
- Ensure all current and new UK sites are optimised for data capture. Working closely with the D2C team on defining data requirements this role is expected to implement and manage data forms centrally if and where possible to ensure data consistency for segmentation and highly targeted direct marketing purposes.
- Provide ongoing software and data support to their staff
- Ensure technical best practices are developed and upheld

Requirements:
- 3-5 years in CRM, Direct Marketing, Email Marketing, Marketing Analytics or related discipline
- Thorough understanding of email and web analytics tools – Ideally SilverPOP and Omniture
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to define and work to timelines
- Experience in internal or external client management
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Copywriting experience a plus
