Position Description
Responsible for the overall optical product revenue and market share in North American. Working with sales staff as the partner, developing pre-sales optical product market analysis, generating strategy and plan, pricing. Strong knowledge and experience on SONET and DWDM and in supporting Sales activities, primarily in a Pre-Sales role. Understanding customer’s network environment and deployment plan to provide customized solution and product recommendations. Working with customer for product introduction/presentation, RFI/RFP response, network configuration, product lab testing and field trial management. Must have experience advanced optical technology especially DWDM, SONET, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical degree. Minimum 4 years working experience in telecommunication industry in the field of Optical transmission products. Experience in sales/system engineering is a prefer. Strong Telecommunications background, especially work experience in the area of Optical solutions is a must. Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently are asset. Quick learner and self-starter, with a willingness to dive in and learn everything required to be successful on the job. Willingness to take ownership of deployments and make them successful. Must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
