Overview:

Perform as the primary developer and level 2 support person for a series of websites dynamically generated from our Public Safety database. Participate in the development and deployment of an AJAX based application framework environment modeled after the Advanced Revelation application framework. Provide operating system and database support to customers for Hitech’s SafetyNet Public Safety software applications.

This is not a remote position. This position works out of our headquarters in Encino, California. Relocation assistance may be available.

Requirements:

Must be a self starter and be strong in the following:
- MultiValue Database Basic programming skills – preferably PI/open or IBM UniVerse
- Web (HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS) skills
- MultiValue database administration skills – preferably PI/open or UniVerse
- UNIX (preferably HP-UX) system support skills (scripting and process
management)
- Written and verbal communication skills

Pluses:
- C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, or VB.Net
- Graphic design skills (Icons, images, etc. using vector and bitmap editors)
- Experience with AREV application framework.
- Experience with CVS for source control
