Position Description
As our Wireless Field Applications Engineer based in Pinebrook, NJ you will have responsibility for the following:
• Provide pre-sales technical customer application qualification for the Anritsu Sales
Channels.
• Provide product demonstration for technical and non-technical customer base.
• Provide Post sales technical support and training of Wireless conformance and performance test and measurement products.
• Technical product collateral development in terms of application notes, white papers, etc.
• Ability to build credible technical relationships with customer base and Sales Channels concurrently.
Job Requirements:
• Documented extensive knowledge of Wireless Technologies (i.e. CDMA2000/EVDO, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA/LTE, etc….) required.
• Documented knowledge of Digital Modulation/Schema (i.e. OFDM/A, TDMA, CDMA, etc.) required.
• Documented participation in Wireless Industry Forums and Working Groups (PTCRB, GSMNA, 3GPP, Flow Forum, Blue Tooth SIG).
• Documented experience in preparing and delivering application notes and white papers to industry level audience.
• Documented knowledge of 802.11/Bluetooth/802.16 technologies required.
• Knowledge of wireless digital transmissions a plus (i.e MediaFLO™, DVB-T/H, etc.)
• Documented experience and knowledge of wireless protocol/signaling a plus.
• Documented written communication skills to include published application notes and white papers.
• Exceptional communication and time management/organizational skills.
• Demonstrated successful performance in a dynamic, multi-task environment.
• Documented experience with wireless test equipment (i.e BTS/UE Emulators, Vector Signal Generators/Analyzers, etc…) a must, experience with Anritsu wireless test equipment a plus.
• Previous experience as a Test & Measurement Field Application Engineer or Technical Support Engineer highly desired.
