Market System Lead (Data Analyst) - the Wireless WorkForce

Position Description

Essential Job Functions

• The Market System Lead (MSL) position is the focal point for data management in their respective market, both as a project owner and leader in driving results on key data management initiatives and as super-user of at&t’s enterprise business systems (e.g. CSS, CTS, Granite…).
• The position reports up as needed to the market Executive Director and local management team, as well as, dotted line report to the Regional System Lead for data quality initiatives.
• The MSL participates regularly on national calls with the HQ Data Quality Management (DQM) team to provide status updates and receive the latest DQM program information.
• This position drives data quality initiatives across functions within their market and as required develops and implements corrective action plans to ensure the success of DQM initiatives. Initiatives include data accuracy and completeness, standardization of processes and gap closing, desktop and physical data quality checks, Environmental Health & Safety and other governmental driven data requirements. This position owns accountability for driving these initiatives within the market, and to Region/HQ.
• The MSL also serves as super-user and Tier 2 support for market system user issues on key enterprise business systems such as CSSng, CTS, Granite, etc… Additionally, as required the position receives and works CTS tickets based on expanded access to at&t’s business enterprise systems.
• Provides targeted system training to their market users, performs user acceptance testing for new system releases on behalf of the market, and is focal point for market system enhancement requests.
• The MSL is the (POC) Point of Contact for market process requests and development.
• The RSL is the initial (POC) Point of Contact for process and development requests.



Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years engineering experience
• Understanding of network operations including EH&S and systems including CSSng, CTS, CATS, Granite, Oracle, CASPR, Cingulinc, Cadence, ATOLL/ ASNOP , Nokia GSM OSS, Ericsson UMTS OSS, Scout, True Position, Vision, CCM 2.0, Business Objects
• Effective communication skills and builds relationships with others to effectively influence direction and drive team performance
• Advanced Level understanding of Excel, Access, SQL, MML, Microsoft Project Visual Basic or similar programming language
• Intermediate Level understanding of Wireless Technology: GSM, UMTS
• Basic Understanding Wireless Traffic Engineering
• Basic Understanding of Wireless Facility Build / Expansion process & procedures
