Position Description
Questex Media Group, Inc., an international integrated media company, is looking for a Digital Sales Representative in their Cleveland office.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for building, growing, and managing online advertising sales. He/She will identify digital sales opportunities for assigned properties, generates market information for potential advertisers, contributes to research efforts and prepares reports as requested. The Digital Sales executive will present complete advertising solutions across his/her property/platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key agencies and clients in the relevant categories
· Define territory strategy to ensure sustainable growth and client development
· Support Questex Media Group’s growth by driving revenue for an assigned territory through face-to-face client/agency meetings
· Conduct a high volume of calls and face-to-face meetings to develop a strong sales presence and drive business in an assigned territory
· Provide regular account updates and revenue forecasting to management
· Negotiate deals with the client/agency community that embody a win-win framework
· Collaborate with Questex Media Group’s Inside Sales and Marketing teams on sales strategy and provide customer-centric advertising programs
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Minimum 2 years online/internet advertising sales experience
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com
• Strong relationship building skills
• Ability to develop leads through cold calling and networking
• Ability to develop custom presentations and responses to RFPs
• Interest in and understanding of online marketing and media
• Ability to multi-task and work on many projects at the same time in a fast paced environment a must
• Great communication and writing skills
