Position Description

POSITION SUMMARY

As Wireless Application Support Specialist, the successful candidate will call upon excellent communication skills to provide exceptional support to valuable customers and partners through e-mail and phone communication. By collecting, updating, and maintaining customer trouble ticket and resolution information, the candidate will resolve technical issues relating to our applications on BlackBerry Handheld devices through a process of troubleshooting, fact-finding, researching, testing and, where appropriate, escalation.

•University/College education in a computer-related technology or equivalent hands on experience
•Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written)
•Provide pleasant and professional customer service and technical support to current and potential customers for our application WIC Information Communicator and related environment via telephone, FTP, and email
•Provide training for current customers via phone or on site on a limited basis
•Trouble shooting skills are a must
•Ability to multi-task is a must
•Some sales and marketing skills
•Technical proficiency in Windows 98/2000/XP/2003, IIS, TCP/IP, SMTP and BES
•Knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and relational databases MSSQL, Oracle and others
•SmartSimple for contact tracking, TicketTrack for tracking tickets, and Mantis for logging defects and errors
•Willing to do whatever it takes to get things done
•Ability to work well as part of a team
•Availability to work outside of 9 – 5 if required
•Minimum 1 year of related experience
