Job Title: Electronic Technician II
Requisition Number: 12083
Location: Milpitas, CA 95035
This position entails collaboration with other team members in testing and troubleshooting products returned for repair. Technician will trouble shoot at the system, board and component level and will be able to rework boards if necessary.
Responsibilities include:
• Test and trouble shoot RF/digital circuits to component level. Fix unit, perform final functional test and send to QC- Ensure appropriate documentation is complete, and database is update;
• Performs complex soft and hard silver soldering operations involving a variety of material, often including unlike metals requiring variations in heat and techniques to assemble and solder components and parts; and
• When necessary assist in building test fixtures and providing necessary documentation for operation.
Qualifications:
• A.A.S. Electronics Engineering technology or equivalent work experience;
• Knowledge and use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, noise figure meters, distortion analyzers and other test equipment; and
• Good communication skills.
