Position Description
The Director of Sales will be an individual contributor, responsible for upselling existing mobile operator accounts and generating sales of RF planning and optimization products and services with new mobile operator customers in Western Europe.
Reporting to the CEO, you will develop custom account plans to penetrate targeted Tier 1 and Tier 2 GSM mobile operators in this region and be supported by local sales engineering resources. Build business cases and value propositions with the technical proficiency required to discuss customer requirements and develop solutions. Drive sales process forward and achieve sales forecasts. Implements strategic selling methods and tools for account and opportunity planning. Builds appropriate customer relationships with GSM operators from engineering through executive level. Develops and articulates value messages that are tailored to specific customer needs
Base salary of £80K to £100k depending on experience plus uncapped Commission based on achieving targets. Must have work authorization and travel permits throughout Western Europe. Local candidate in Western Europe only – no relocation expenses.
The ideal candidate has a University or Bachelor degree with 7+ years selling GSM infrastructure or RF planning and optimization products and services into the Tier 1 mobile operators in Western Europe. Must have a track record in meeting/exceeding annual sales quota and key sales objectives. You have developed and executed plans for account penetration / “must win” opportunities. Thorough knowledge of RF network design and capacity planning, as well as link budget analysis, is required. Excellent project management, negotiation and communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency with computer hardware and software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint).
