Position Description

Salary: £35k + £5k car allowance and bonus
Location: Central London

Our client is a leading Network Operator and they are looking for Communications Manager.

The Role
As a Corporate Comms Manager you will have to deliver first class press coverage in the newspapers and broadcast media on a daily basis by utilising great relationships with the press and by coming up with innovative PR and comms ideas. You will ensure the relevant areas of the business are supported both internally and externally. You will also ensure alignment between our internal and external communications by working closely with the Internal Comms, brand and culture teams.

Must Haves
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Proven delivery of first class PR campaigns at a national, local and trade level
• Substantial experience in PR/journalism
• Excellent writing skills

Nice to Haves
It would be great if you could also display:-
• Internal comms experience
• Previous experience in the media outside of PR (either a job or work experience in the media)
• A solid understanding of the communications – or similar – industry

The Department
This role sits within the Core Business Comms team, within the Communications Directorate. The successful candidate will need to have relationships at all levels of the business and be able to uncover great stories for an internal and external audience.
