IMS / SDP - Consulting Manager - inCode Telecom

Position Description

We currently have an opening for a Consulting Manager in the US. Candidates must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 100% M-F, when necessary.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

- Provide strategic technology advice to North American clients in the following segments: carriers, cable companies, equipment vendors, device vendors and financial services companies.
- Lead engagements focused on providing technology advice re: network design, platform selection, vendor selection, spectrum utilization, RF technologies (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, WiMAX, etc.), wireline and cable technologies, OSS/BSS integration, and device selection.
- Lead engagements focused on convergence solution design, implementation and optimization
- Contribute pro-actively with business and solutions consulting teams during the pre sales phase.
- Create customer proposals which lead to the selection of inCode for client projects
- Provide active and competent communication of inCode strategies in customer organization.
- Lead the development of technology strategies to support and help the client win the target group of customers / accounts.

Qualifications

- 7+ years wireline/wireless/cable, IT, high tech industry, and/or consulting experience
- 3+ years continuous project leadership in convergence services, white paper creation, IP networks or related fields
- 3+ years leading teams to provide project management to customers in service/technology development, business planning, market research or related fields
- Expertise in backhaul, access, transport, switching, WiMAX , subscriber management, session control (i.e. IMS), charging/billing, policy management, service/content delivery (i.e. SDP), value added services (i.e. service enablers and application platforms), 3G and/or 4G
- Deep cable, wireline and wireless industry skills, including content delivery, convergence services and platforms
- Supervise staff of 5+
- Sales familiarity and comfort
- Bachelor degree; computer science and electrical engineering, Masters degree or PhD preferred
- MBA a plus
