Summary:
The Zoning Representative is responsible for performing zoning and permitting functions for internal and external American Tower customers with a focus on asset-protection and supporting customer collocations. The incumbent will manage zoning/permitting projects from site identification through the zoning hearing process and final permit inspections which includes new tower sites, collocations, and tower modifications. The Zoning Representative must have substantive zoning/permitting experience including providing accurate zoning analysis, filing zoning/permitting applications, giving zoning hearing presentations, and managing outside vendors.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Planning, Political Science, Public Policy or Law preferred. Graduate degree in above fields preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in zoning, permitting, real estate or wireless industry with focus on zoning and permitting required.
• Project management experience required.
• Experience in public speaking preferred.
