Summary:
The Zoning Specialist’s primary function is to provide substantive zoning support for the Zoning Department in a high-volume time sensitive environment. The incumbent will provide zoning research assistance and analysis, as well as manage certain types of zoning and permitting projects for the Zoning Department and other internal teams including Collocation, Sales, Operations, Redevelopment, Acquisition Zoning and Permitting (AZP), and New Tower Development. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of the basics of zoning and land use regulations, be able to handle a number of zoning research projects at a time, and have strong organizational and communication skills.
Education and Experience:
• College degree, paralegal certificate and/or related experience required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant zoning, real estate or wireless experience required.
• Experience in conducting zoning research and providing zoning analysis strongly preferred.
• Experience in basic document drafting required.
• Negotiating experience strongly preferred.
• Notary Public or willingness to become a Notary Public.
