Position Description

Senior RF Engineer (GSM)

A Senior RF Engineer is responsible for first level management of system design, system implementation, network optimization and system performance activities. The candidate must be able provide technical leadership on client engagements and be able to lead a large team of engineers in the implementation of client projects. The candidate must be proficient on interfacing directly with the client on a daily basis to discuss activities, project scope and contractual obligations, representing inCode Telecom. He or she must create, handle and provide reports detailing activities, schedule, technical as well as administrative functions and a variety of project deliverables. The candidate must be motivated, willing to travel (up to 100%), work on different shifts, and have a valid US driver’s license.

Requirements:
 1 year of working experience in a Supervisory role, managing at least 2 engineers
 5+ years of working RF Engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a GSM network
 2+ years of working Network Optimization and Performance experience

Education:
 BSEE (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent required

Skills Required:
 Technical Expertise – Demonstrates ability to outline processes and procedures for design implementation and optimization of wireless networks.
 Client Relations – Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications; must be able to work individually on a client site and provide value to client with little direction beyond initial scope definition.
 Project Management – Assure quality assurance, timely deliverables, and proper documentation of project deliverables as an individual or as team leader of an engineering team of peers, juniors, client personnel, and vendor resources.
 Staff Development – Assist engineering manager in developing goals and objectives for the project, assist staff with appropriate leadership, feedback and direction; Ensure staff understands and achieves company goals, provide technical guidance to project team members
 Knowledge – Thorough knowledge and experience in at least two major wireless technologies. GSM must be one of them.
