Position Description

Salary: 35,000

The Role
Our client is a leading UK Network Provider looking for Advertising Manager. In this role you’ll be responsible for the planning and delivery of best in class advertising campaigns/projects for UK markets (Consumer and Business BU) against tightly defined objectives and agreed creative briefs that are capable of integration throughout the communications mix. You will ensure that nominated projects are delivered on time and to budget; write clear and compelling briefs that inspire creative teams, with agreement from segment or broadband teams in relation to the brief, first stage creative and final copy.

You’ll also work alongside the media team in the development of media briefs, strategies and plans to ensure fulfilment of the plan is feasible and affordable before media approvals. Working with other areas of the business, especially the planning team, retail and online, to ensure integration of all ATL campaigns through the line. Ensuring all internal stakeholders are fully supportive and informed of all relevant advertising activity.

You’ll also devise and implement effective means of assessing effectiveness of communication. Compiling post campaign reviews, working to budget parameters and managing budget accordingly, reporting regularly to Senior Advertising Manager and finance team.

Must Haves

• In depth B2C focused brand and marketing experience role with extensive experience in advertising – Preferably from a client background.
• Thorough understanding of the production process, including TV production.
• Strong project management skills gained in a large, fast-paced organisation.
• Experience of managing advertising agencies, with strong cost management and budget skills.
• Proven ability to judge creative against a brief.

Nice to Haves
• Understanding of commercial impact of decisions.
• Understanding of media planning.
• Good negotiation skills
• Good knowledge/understanding of creative software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash etc
