Location: Milpitas, CA 95035

Develop speech and video enabled system software based on web-oriented standards such as Voice XML, CCXML, and Web Services on a Linux platform using C+. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a cross-geographical team providing solutions to a diverse range of complex problems. The candidate should have solid development process skills and should have taken a several software projects from requirements to product realization.

Basic Qualification:
The candidate must have a BS in computer science or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience in a software development position. The individual must have experience with multi-threaded programming and with a variety of technologies including C+, PHP, and Red Hat Linux.

Preferred Qualification:
Knowledge of SIP, H.323, CCXML and Voice XML is preferred. Knowledge of SMIL, Speech Recognition, Boost Libraries, web services and Service Oriented Architecture concepts is a plus.
