Senior Software Engineer - Dada Entertainment

Position Description

Responsibilities:

Design, update and deliver bug-fixes for the BREW version of our application
Participate in developing the architecture
Certifying the application for NSTL testing submission
Follow relevant technology trends, standards, and industry direction

Job Requirements:

2 – 5 years experience developing BREW applications on BREW 2.x and 3.x platform
Knowledge and experience of Qualcomm and NSTL
Strong C/C++ experience; embedded environments and mobile applications
Strong O-O design skills
Hands on experience in implementing applications in Objective C, C# is a plus
Have a high level of design skills and experience, and a broad understanding of various technologies.
Familiarity with AJAX (JavaScript, PHP, CSS, etc), XML, XHTML, XSTL, JSP/ASP will be required
Good understanding of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
Good understanding of networking fundamentals like socket level programming
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are absolutely essential
Database skills, SQL, MYSQL preferred is needed
Knowledge of scripting languages, PERL, CGI also a plus
Product development experience on Android, MAC OS X, .NET is a plus
Experience in understanding Flash, DOM and Silverlight will be useful
Experience with J2ME or WindowsMobile is a plus but not essential
Good understanding of FTP, SMTP, POP3, FTP, RTP/RSSP will be useful but not essential
Experience in open source web browser engines like WebKit, and web browser programming interfaces
Education Requirements:

BSCS/EE required, MSCS/EE preferred
