Position Description
Smaato is the leader of “in application” ad enablement of mobile phone applications as well as providing ad network aggregation services to deliver mobile advertising to its network of mobile application developer/publishers. We are looking for Director of Ad Networks to expand Ad Network Partnerships globally to sell Smaato’s network of Publisher inventory. This position will require cultivation of close relationships with the Ad Networks to ensure a s teady supply of high quality advertising campaigns for our portfolio of mobile developers/ publishers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identification and acquisition of new ad networks and ongoing account management
- Ability to execute contract negotiations
- Negotiation and re- negotiation with Ad networks of various advertising campaigns to ensure steady supply of high priced, quality campaigns for our portfolio of publishers
- Work on RFP responses with ad networks and support ad networks on joint sales calls
- Manage day to day servicing needs of clients including campaign trafficking, reporting, and follow up with any additional requests
- Leads day-to-day management and optimization of advertising & publisher inventory to ensure guarantees are met and new advertising campaigns are generated
- Assists in strategy development.
- Authors campaign summary/analysis.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Strategic Alliances and Operations teams
- Masters and maintains vast knowledge of client’s business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.
- Monitors agency/client budgets and billing process for accuracy and timeliness
- Generates weekly and monthly reports for operations and sales
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 to 4 years interactive advertising experience, ideally in an Ad Network
- Comes with existing Agency and Ad Network relationships/contacts
- Track record of closing deals with clients and demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery
- Experience running/overseeing interactive advertising campaigns
- Experienced Key account management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of campaign success metrics, CPM and CPC conversions
- Good with numbers, analytical and inquisitive by nature
- Proactive versus reactive thinker that maintains a positive attitude and can come up with practical solutions
- Dependable, self motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as be a good team member
- Can do attitude and works well under pressure with tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely organized and highly motivated and ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of ad servers from both the publisher and advertiser sides is a plus
- A deep understanding of planning and measurement is a plus (Media Metric, NetRatings, @Plan etc.)
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
Compensation includes base salary, stock options and a strong commission package
