POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is a young and independent mobile marketing agency that delivers product and marketing solutions to international brands via the following three core service offerings:

1). Strategic Mobile Planning
2). Project Management and Coordination
3). Mobile Media Planning & Buying

They are looking to employ a strategic account planner that is ready to take the next step in their career and work alongside an extremely forward thinking and energetic management team to continue the successful growth of the company. You should be confident in your ability to drive the development and growth of our client’s mobile/digital marketing strategies for their clients.

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a wealth of traditional Strategic and Account Planning experience, but most importantly, digital channel planning experience and a desire to focus on emerging trends / the mobile channel.
• A thorough understanding of strategic marketing methodologies and an ability to create business cases to support the work we do with our clients is essential.
• The ideal candidate should have agency experience and a marketing / advertising background.

Role:
• Develop key mobile strategies (with the support of the wider team) for clients and communicate them clearly, effectively and timely (both internally and externally).
• Working alongside their in-house team, agencies, media owners and technical partners to ensure output is aligned with vision.
• Develop and refine internal/external working methodologies to ensure implementation of their plans is on brief.
• Continue to develop and strengthen our relationship with clients and partner companies.
• Ensure an excellent working knowledge of key mobile advertising/communication vehicles in the marketplace with view to offering relevant opportunities to their clients.
• Responsibility for specific client budgets including monthly forecasting and ensuring that clients remain profitable within the strategy department.
Essential attributes of successful candidate – role related

• A minimum of 3 years experience in developing digital strategies for large consumer facing brands
• Excellent Client Management skills with a proven track record of working with senior clients up to and including CMO level.
• Good Presentation skills
• Excellent project management and problem solving skills.
• A very high degree of numeracy and literacy are essential given the reporting and financial elements of the role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• An understanding of Market leading Mobile companies (Mobile Manufacture, Mobile Operator and Mobile Marketing) in key markets.

Essential ‘personal’ qualities
- Self-esteem, confidence and strength of character – ability to be assertive without being aggressive
- A creative flair and strong knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and Mac
- Ability to influence a team / client to provide what you require of them while maintaining good relationships and high ethical standards
- Passionate about Mobile as a communications tool
