Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary
Responsible for repairs and maintains fleet vehicles and equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, acceptable professional standards and applicable state and DOT requirements.
Responsibilities
Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on all company vehicles and motorized equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ recommended service intervals and internal equipment reliability experience.
- Inspect the condition and operation of vehicles and motorized equipment and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Prepare vehicles and motorized equipment for reliable operation during seasonal changes (e.g. coolant, tires, lubricants, emergency equipment, etc.)
- Maintain maintenance and repair records on all equipment.
- Assure that applicable service bulletins and recalls are dealt with appropriately.

- Maintain adequate inventory of service and common repair parts.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal training program in automotive repair.
- 3 to 4 years of automotive service-related experience.
- Knowledge of gas/diesel engine, air-conditioning, hydraulics, welding and fuel systems.
