User Experience Designer - ARN Consulting

Position Description

Our client are a leading Network Operator and they are looking for a talented designer with a few years of experience working in Mobile UI, working on future design concepts as well as improving existing ones.

Role purpose
The goal is to help specify user interfaces of the mass market mobile phone and web applications and services of the future. This will involve bringing to life concepts by visualisation & prototyping (wireframes, keyscreens, sketches, etc.) using the adhoc tool/technology (flash, flashlite, html, css,) as part of the iterative prototyping-design cycles. To produce clear and concise specifications as required. You will be working closely with colleagues in usability, design and engineering ensuring that products and services are easy to use and that the overall usage experience is intuitive and satisfying for users. You will work closely with all of business units which cover fixed land-lines, mobile networks and the internet.

Experience
Essential:

• University degree or equivalent in Design/Interaction, Design/Information Architecture, Human Factors/ Human-Computer Interaction/ or a related subject
• Experience in development of user interfaces using flashlite, flash, HTML, ajax, etc technologies
• Experience in designing the user experience of mobile, on-line products and services (WAP, mobile portal etc) and/or for device based
• OS (Symbian, Windows Mobile, Java or Android etc)

Desirable:
• French speaker
• Post graduate degree
