OVERALL ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced, talented, and motivated software QA engineer who understands the mobile landscape with hands-on experience in the development or testing of complex software systems. The candidate will work very closely with development, product management, and customers in shepherding devices from cradle to grave. The candidate must have experience creating and executing test plans, guiding the development of testing frameworks, and building complete quality control processes.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• 3+ years of software developmnet or testing complex software systems experience.
• 2-3 years API level testing (JAVA)
• Strong experience with Junit
• BS or BA in CS or equivalent, MS preferred.
• Strong scripting skills in Perl
• Knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Java, C++ and Unix/Linux REQUIRED!
• A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Tack-sharp analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in mobile software developing or testing a big plus.
• Knowledge of Java VM or Linux internals a big plus.
