Job is focused on the development and implementation of Test Automation tool set for testing the EAGLE set of products. Job entails working closely with the Test Tools and Product Verification Groups to define, develop, and implement automated test solutions that can be used for Unit, Feature and System Test efforts.

Working from the Product Functional Specifications and Engineering Functional Design specifications, create automated tests and tools that will improve test effectiveness and efficiency, resulting in lower capital spending and shorter test windows, with improved quality. Also, lead small project teams on parallel tools and automation projects.

Perform reviews of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and customer documentation, and provide feedback to the author concerning ways to improve automated testability of the product.

Job will provide opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the EAGLE product and the SS7 protocol.

This job will involve working directly with product verification and software development personnel to deliver a high quality software/firmware release. The ability to work productively with developers is critical to success in this job.

Summary of Qualifications:

Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent plus a minimum of 7+ years of test, test automation, or related experience. Ability to work with personal computers including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases. Experience with Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and/or LINUX desired. Familiarity with IP networking a plus. Knowledge in any or all of the following programming languages also a plus: TCL, PERL, PYTHON, EXPECT. Strong leadership ability, oral/written communications and ability to work effectively with team members required. Some telecommunications experience preferred. SS7 protocol experience a plus.
