Position Description

Summary of the position:
• Responsible for network ordering in regard to Non-Complex and Complex
Services. Which include but are not limited to: POTS, Centrex, PBX/TF8 lines,
Directory Listings, Low-Baud, DS0 and DS1 circuits, LD T1s, PRIs and VoIP.
• Establish/Maintain positive relationships with vendors, carriers and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for verifying accuracy, provisioning and tracking orders from
implementation/delivery to billing.
• Implementation of voice services on a small to large (up to approximately 75
locations) project basis.
• Process Local and Long Distance orders via AT&T, Level3, Paetec, Verizon,
Access One, NGT and all other Alternate Carriers that we do or will do
business with in the future.
• Responsible for coordinating and updating service delivery, assumption and all
MAC orders with End Users, System Vendors and/or Telco Vendors.
§ Working with Carriers to ensure orders are processed correctly.
§ Updating customers and managements on status of pending
circuits via e-mail and telephone.
• Follow proper procedure when placing orders.
• Process orders in a timely and efficient manner. Follow standard due date
guidelines for each carrier.
• Understand how and why all orders are placed with carriers/web-portals.
• Solve problems that would hinder circuits from being turned up.
• Finding alternate network design solutions when needed for customer.
• Work overtime and/or different hours when necessary.
• Responsible for confirming, researching and writing MAC orders which are
received via email or fax from the end-user.
• Coordinate Inside wiring as needed.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient in use of personal computer and basic software applications; for
example: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant Work Experience: 2-4 yrs telecommunications job related
experience.
*CLEC Provisioning Experience is beneficial but not neccessary.
