Wireless Network Implmentation Specialists / Contract - inCode Telecom

Position Description

We currently have several openings for Wireless Network Implementation Specialists / Contractors in the US. Candidates must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 100% M-F, when necessary. These will be 3 to 6 month contracts.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Provide technical advisory and engineering support to clients and vendors in various wireless network deployment activities
• Lead system deployment and implementation activities from conception, through verification, to field test and deployment
• Define system level requirements covering network connectivity, IT integration, functional capabilities, traffic analysis, testing and operational support
• Specify system configurations, equipment layout diagrams, use cases, message flows for lab and production network elements
• Collaborate with client’s product development groups, verification teams, project management and marketing teams, and contractors at various stages of the network deployment
• Develop test plans, test environment configurations and test cases
• Execute test cases, and prepare test reports

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in wireless, IT, high tech industry
• Knowledge of CDMA2000 core network is a plus
• Hands on experience with deployment of wireless access and core network elements such as BTS, BSC, MSC, HLR/HSS, PDSN, AAA, FA, HA, PDSN, SCP, PCRF, SPR, Soft Switch, MGW and Device Manager
• Practical experience with protocols: CDMA2000, SS7, IS41, WIN, TCP, UDP, SCTP, IP, SIP, MGCP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, HTTP
• Knowledge of RF (CDMA, EVDO), backhaul, access, transport, switching, subscriber management, session control (i.e. IMS), charging/billing, policy management, service/content delivery, value added services (i.e. service enablers and application platforms), 3G and/or 4G
• Understanding of wireless services such as Voice, Prepaid, SMS, MMS, Email, Voice Mail, Web Browsing, Mobile TV, Location, etc
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time and prioritize them accordingly
• Self-starter, capable of taking initiative to identify & resolve problems, and improve work environment
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, Masters degree preferred
