Position Description
FMHC Telecom Group, based in Chicago, is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Data Network Engineer position in the Seattle, WA area.
The Data Network Engineer is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, assisting with upgrades and patches and supporting production issues on the External Access Platform and Location Based Services (Redknee) platform. Also responsible for assorted other duties related to platform verification and 3rd party on-boarding.
Qualifications:
1) EAG / DSDN Expert Required 2) Location Based Services Intermediate Desired 3) Load and Performance testing Intermediate Required 4) Mercury Quality Center Intermediate Required 5) Unix Intermediate Required 6) ALU ISG and ESM Intermediate Desired 7) ASN.1 experience Expert Required 8) Sun systems and tools Intermediate Required 9) SQL and test automation Intermediate Desired External Access Gateway for on-boarding, moderating and controlling 3rd party applications that are integrated onto the client’s core network. This platform is primarily in the Wireless channel, but wireside projects are slated to cross this platform in the future as well.
Skills Needed:
• Experience on Data Network (DSDN) or External Access Gateway (EAG) • Load, Performance, and Robustness testing on RF – IP network nodes • Mercury Quality Center 9.0 Test Director – able to be assigned on client’s test process and work on own to accomplish, including triage, bug reporting, and regression. • Strong Unix experience and understanding, as well as the associated tools • Experience with Alcatel-Lucent ISG and ESM nodes • Experience with SMS – SMSC- MAR, MMS – MMSC, WAP-Push – PPG. • Qualified experience with ASN.1 for EDR / CDR
