Position Description

A leading developer of wireless connectivity, productivity and optimization products is looking for an Experienced Software Development Manager for their product team in Chicago.

The successful candidate will Manage a team of software developers and have experience in the following:

•
Design, implement, test and deploy our client products.
•
Work with the lead developers in our client products to ensure compatibility.
•
Work with local and remote development teams to implement designs.
•
Attend customer status calls to provide technical status updates and comment on issues and questions.
•
Be able to generate accurate and reasonable effort estimates for PM.
•
Juggle multiple active projects (10+) for multiple customers (15+).
•
Have a broad background in numerous software technologies and network protocols.
•
8+ years MSVC++ , C and C++
•
6+ years MFC
•
Working knowledge of GSM, CDMA, WiFi and other network technologies.
•
5+ years experience managing a group of software developers.
•
Experience writing technical specifications.
•
Experience working with Technical documentation departments.
•
Advanced verbal and written communication skill in the English language.
•
Interpersonal skill to effectively interact cross functionally and with customers.
•
Advanced organizational skills.
•
Microsoft Visio
•
HTTP/HTML experience

•
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar field.
