Position Description
Licensing Manager
Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and console, is seeking a Licensing Manager to join its existing talent pool located in San Francisco. The right candidate’s main responsibility would be securing licenses for use in new video games. The Licensing Manager will report directly to the Director of Licensing based in San Francisco.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a main point of contact on negotiating and securing licenses with licensors.
- Conduct marketing surveys about licenses’ relevancies and collect brand information from the licensors accordingly.
- Coordinate all marketing and business information on projects in order to streamline the internal decision making process.
- Liaise between Internal Licensing Team and Licensors on all the licensing projects.
- Benchmark with comparable licenses.
- Prepare all licensing proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA graduate from a Top University majoring in Marketing or Business.
- Some Licensing Experience necessary.
- Strategic thinker who is able to come up with innovative solutions.
- Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with little oversight and direct accountability
- Familiar with the mobile phone content and video gaming market.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to travel within the US and internationally.
