Job Description:

· The Application Developer is responsible for ensuring the appropriate technical programming design of all new features and functionality implemented.

· These individuals perform both the analysis and the actual programming work for all computer programs, translating system requirements into quality technical solutions.

· Up to 50% telecommute available for this position.

· Review system requirements, user design specifications, and user workflows.

· Provide high level and detailed estimates.

· Create, document, and review detailed designs that meet requirements.

· Review designs with team and customer for acceptance early in the development process.

· Ensure that all designs and implementations maximize performance.

· Develop and execute tests that prove that the design and implementation meet the system requirements.

· Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.

· Test and develop programming modifications.

· Write new program code using prescribed specifications.

· Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.

· Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.

· Write and maintain programming documentation.

· Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.

· Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.

· Participate in regular project updates and project team meetings.

· Oversee the work of one or more Software Developers.



Qualifications:

· MS in Computer Science or Bachelors with at least 3 years experience working as a Windows application developer.

· 2-3 years .Net programming experience, specifically with ASP .Net and C#.

· Should have demonstrated experience developing N-tiered applications against MS SQL backend database.

· Highly desired skills: Visual Basic, Web Technologies, Web/Window services, XML/SOAP, ASP, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript and Oracle database experience.
