Position Description

Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities

- Develop detailed product requirements documents based on MRD, sales/customer input, competitive intelligence and dialog with product development. The goal is to specify something that is needed (useful), useable and achievable with available resources within specified time frame

- Collaborate with Engineering (in US and in India) in taking the product requirements to a successful product release

- Qualify prospects and help prospects evaluate products.

- Sales enablement (Build relationships with prospects/customers to convert business opportunities into sales)

- Work with customers and support team to ensure successful deployment of products in customer environment

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- In depth understanding of content delivery networks, internet proxy, internet caching devices, internet protocols especially http, understanding of streaming protocols is a plus

- Time management especially ability to balance regularly scheduled responsibilities along with urgent, often unscheduled, support requests with a high level of responsiveness.

- Self-motivated who takes the initiative to assume responsibility and ownership of problems and be self-driven to obtain resolution.

- Excellent communication skills, especially supporting sales team, customers and partners.

- Able to cooperate, work, and communicate well in a startup.

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field and minimum of 5 years of related experience

- Understanding Video editing and internet publishing tools is a plus
