Wireless Enthusiast -Technical Marketing and Product Training Manager
Sony Ericsson is searching for a wireless technology enthusiast who has experience as a Technical Marketing and Product Training Manager.
The Technical Marketing and Product Training manager is responsible for all product training materials, curriculum and product training events for retail sellers of Sony Ericsson products in the USA. In this role you will work directly with our Sales and Marketing team to create sales training material for our front line sales force. This material will outline the new functions, features of our mobile phones along with sales specials and promotions for specific retailers.
The technical training manager is also responsible for internal product training of the Sony Ericsson field sales support team as they interact with retail sellers of Sony Ericsson products. In all aspects, the technical marketing and training manager is regarded as a product expert and product evangelist by various parties both internal and external. As the technical training manager’s deliverables directly influences the wireless retail sales forces of Sony Ericsson’s customers, there is a direct and significant impact on product sell-through.
A typical workday will involve writing of training content, collaboration with creative agencies and reviewing creative materials through stages of completion. You will be controlling budgets and timelines for numerous deliverables from agencies. Also included will be fielding product knowledge-based questions from the Sony Ericsson sell-through team and participating in account team meetings and conference calls.
Occasional travel is required.
To qualify for this role
You must be passionate about wireless technology!
You must have 5 or more years of experience in a Technical Marketing or Technical Product Training role.
A bachelor’s degree or better is preferred.
Wireless experience is a must.
