We are currently seeking a dynamic, high-energy Telemetry Engineer to join our DAS Solutions team in Cary, NC.
Summary:
The Telemetry Engineer provides all technical support and configuration associated with the Neutral Host DAS Network Monitoring System. The incumbent is responsible for the specification, configuration, and maintenance of the Frame Relay Network of Cisco routers, Radio Frequency (RF) Wireless head end equipment (ADC, Andrew, etc) and PLC devices for dry contacts. The incumbent is also responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our network monitoring tools, which run on a Linux workstation.
Education and Experience:
• Four (4) year Engineering degree from a Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited university program
• Three (3) – five (5) years experience with UNIX systems programming required
• Two (2) – three (3) years experience developing applications in C++, shell variants and SQL required
• Cisco Frame Relay network provisioning and maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of 802.11, AutoCAD, and cellular applications preferred
