Summary:
The Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer provides RF engineering support for tower leasing activities. The position will produce RF studies in direct support of the Senior RF Engineer, and provides approved RF recommendations to internal and external customers. Internal customers will include Collocation, Sales, Architectural and Engineering (A&E) as well as Site Operations. The incumbent will also be required to interact with both internal and external customers to provide technical direction and issue resolution with regard to proposed and existing wireless antenna placements.
Education and Experience:
Four-year degree in electrical/electronic/RF engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited university program is required
Two years RF Engineering training or experience related to the wireless telecommunications industry strongly preferred
Field level experience with the design, installation and optimization of mobile radio equipment and antennas is a plus
