CONTEXT & SCOPE FOR ROLE
Our clients newly created European Digital Distribution team comprises Digital Expansion, Digital Customer Management and Digital Sales Operations. The European Digital Distribution teams works closely with all key teams in territories and Home Offices including Business Planning & Innovation, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing and Sales. This multi disciplinary team focuses on successfully rolling out innovative digital initiatives and delivering “Execution Excellence” to best serve new and existing customers.
SCOPE:
The Digital Sales Operations Manager is part of the Digital Distribution team and reports to the VP Digital Customer Manager. This position is based in London, and operates across Europe working closely with territory-based Digital Customer Managers.
He/she manages the rights research, documentation and tracking for Digital products as well as coordinates logistics between Digital partners and our clients central manufacturing team.

Core Responsibilities
20% Digital Product Documentation & Tracking
• Per each territory & each digital rights set, track digital product 3-6 months in advance
• Features Current EST, Features Library EST, Feature Current NR VOD (HD vs. SD), Feature Library VOD (HD vs. SD), Catch-Up TV EST, TV Library EST, Value Added Materials
• New Releases: per each territory, ensure planning & tracking are in place based on existing DVD/BD release schedule or Broadcast TV schedule
• Catalog: per each territory, ensure planning & tracking are in place based on existing DVD/BD release schedule plus any additional Catalog planning specific to Digital
• Track & document Ratings information
• Track information in shared repository or system
• Track all updates & changes

40% Digital Rights Research, Confirmation & Windowing
• Research digital product rights & product availabilities and communicate research to appropriate parties
• Support new customer, new products, and new territories
• Receive request from business development or operations
• Per each territory & each digital rights set, utilize defined systems & processes to confirm underlying rights in and negotiated rights out
• Confirm digital VOD availability windows utilizing defined systems & processes
• Work with business unit to ensure content availability windows are consistent in marketplace

40% Internal / External Communication
• Prepare and send materials to support customer-specific communications on a weekly basis
• Ensure that all lifecycle changes (street date move, window begin or end, price tier change) are capturing in change log and flagged for action)
• Verify and communicate customer-specific pricing information or changes
• Maintain close communications with territory-based Key Account Managers, Digital Customer Managers, and Home Office Digital Product Group
• Prepare and update internal communication materials on a weekly basis
• Update any shared systems or tools with necessary changes or inputs
• Ensure all new release street dates are accurate

Job Requirements

Experience: Typically three years relevant experience in a digital-specific role – with particular focus on digital rights management and Digital sales logistics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
• Digital-specific experience gained within a digital distribution, Home Entertainment or production/post-production services company
• Experience with and knowledge digital distribution workflows and right sets
• Concrete experience managing complex information workflows
• Demonstrable examples of successful process management.
Skills:
• A high standard in accuracy, thoroughness and detail-oriented task completion
• Ability to process and manage large amounts of data
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital entertainment
• MS Office Suite, Excel proficiency required.

Abilities:
• Strong capability for tracking, managing and communicating large amounts of data in support of the wider business.
