Salary: £35K + Car + bonus
To pre-sell all physical new releases to specified on-line retail accounts. To achieve the best on-site placement for our clients product and to execute marketing with the accounts efficiently and effectively. To work closely with all their labels.
Key Objectives
•Manage on a day to day basis the designated account(s). To develop an understanding of all aspects of the relationship (e.g. financial, market-driven etc.)
•Work closely with the labels to plan strategy for new releases on-line in order to maximize site coverage for product – to include, where applicable any retail deals, and to ensure that targeted figures are achieved.
•Execute retail marketing promptly and efficiently with close regard to the relevant documentation.
•Proactively seek new and creative ways to promote our clients new releases on-line in order to drive pre-order sales and to maintain sales post release
•Proactively drive their catalogue sales via creation, proposal and participation in on-line campaign activity
•Demonstrate as part of your ongoing role a good understanding of the market place and of our clients place in it and that of our competitors
•Work closely with the Line Manager to understand the financial status of you account(s) and to increase your knowledge of the current and projected market place and where applicable take an active role in strategizing for future trading terms and interim deals.
•Provide regular reports to the Line Manager concerning new opportunities with your retailer(s) (and what initiatives they are engaging in including those from our competitors) – with a view to increasing incremental sales opportunities (this will require good communication into all areas of the sales department).
•Establish and maintain good relationships with all buyers from retail accounts and work with them to understand their key values.
•Collate projected sales figures on a weekly basis.
•Develop a clear understanding of the expectations of the Line Manager and any objectives that you may be set.
•Attend regular sales & marketing meetings, where you will be an active participant.
Profit & budget responsibilities
To ensure planning is done to enable budgeted goals. To execute any retail marketing as cost effectively as possible and to report any change in account status or activity that may affect our client’s profit.

•High level of literacy, numerate and computer skills
