Job Description:

Due to growth, our client is in need of a Lab based Device Test Engineer. The Device Test Engineer will test the features and functions of wireless devices. This person may also contribute to the creation and implementation of processes to enhance the function of the test lab. This person will communicate and work with the device manufacturers. They will also:

· Take devices through the general checklist.

· Create and execute test plans.

· Create reports on findings.



Qualifications:

· 4 year engineering degree is required: BSEE, BSET, BSCE or BS Computer Science

· Must have product development and / or product test / validation experience for a consumer electronics product, to include software and hardware.

· Automated test experience is a plus.

· Firmware development or test experience is a plus.

· Wireless device test experience is a plus.

· RF Test equipment experience is a plus.

· Must have experience working as part of a team. This is not a “lone ranger” role.

· Must have very good communication skills both written and verbal.
