Software Architect – Next Generation Mobile Intelligence Product


Will you like to be the key architect developing next generation Mobile Intelligence engine? This will be the highest performing Intelligence engine for smart phones that increases efficiency of bundled service providers and internet ad brokers. You can be the key differentiator to enhance the experience of exponentially exploding mobile users by enabling the delivery of enriched and relevant rich media content. You will possess complete architectural ownership of the product. You will feel the agility of a start-up culture within the foundation of a successful company.

As a technology leader, you will contribute to Openwave’s technical vision. You will create and review functional specifications and design documents. You will represent Openwave in technical discussions with customers and other 3rd party organizations. You will work across the Product Groups to ensure end to end architectural, functional and protocol consistency.

Position Requirements

• 10+ years of strong application architect experience in designing highly scalable and available systems
• Expert level knowledge in architecting high performing databases with extremely high transaction and storage requirements
• 5+ years development experience in Java and/or C++ with expertise in at least one of them
• 10+ years development experience in Solaris and/or Linux
• MS or PhD Degree in CS or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
