Job Overview

Responsible for maintaining ad sales inventory, assisting with targeting and launching ad campaigns, maintaining programs and ad campaign schedules, assisting with package pricing, maintaining tracking and reporting databases.

Tasks

The Wireless Installation Contractor is responsible for installing wireless and network equipment at customer premises including installing antennas on rooftops and towers, cabling from the antenna to the customer demarcation point as well as installing any indoor equipment associated with the wireless equipment. This includes testing and repair of network equipment, basic router configurations, and cooperative testing and troubleshooting with support technicians.

Responsibilities

Installing wireless and network equipment on top of buildings and towers
Assembles and configures telecommunications components and associated services
Sets up and maintains basic telecommunications operations including assembly of network hardware, and provides assistance to assigned team leader
Performs power and grounding installations, power verification and equipment power-up
Upgrades telecommunications components as required
Responds to customer telecommunications needs and questions in area of responsibility
Installs and tests products into networks per manufacturer’s specifications and customer’s requirements, under general supervision
Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common telecommunications problems
Completes equipment commissioning performance results
Inputs and maintains all customer data related to billing, requests, job, status, expense reports, etc.
Report completions, Issues in service, or quality issues to Management immediately
Familiarity with various cable prep and termination to include LMR 400, Cat5 and associated connectors
Closeout documentation filled out appropriately and Pictures will be taken of work for inspection
Running the riser and horizontal cabling from the roof equipment to the customer's Demarcation point
Configure and understand radio and router configurations and programming at customer sites including testing the link quality and throughput
Professional and courteous interactions with customers.
Practice and exhibit quality workmanship, excellent work ethic and pride-in-ownership in the execution of all operating and maintenance duties including the proper care of all property
Solid communications, organization and prioritization skills are essential, including the ability to work well with others and interact respectfully with customers
