Job Description:

The Engineer III may be responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical projects as assigned. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of product and/or procedures. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular technology. Analyzes performance measurement & statistics to improve network efficiencies & identify potential problems. Develops detailed recommendations for changes & process improvements. Analyzes performance standards. May be required to lead junior engineers, direct their work efforts and monitor their performance. May be required to perform duties as Project Manager or provide engineering assistance to the project management group. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Ideal candidate will need to have RF Optimization experience within the San Francisco area. Role will initially be responsible for the 3G (CDMA) RF Optimization, and then 4G (LTE) RF Optimization in the San Francisco market, and for ensuring that the network performance meets customer performance specifications. The Optimization Engineer will need to work closely with the Regional RF Lead and RF Technical Lead in the market and Region.

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

5 – 10 years experience in an engineering field

6+ years telecom experience with at least 1 year LTE experience required

Experience with 3G and 4G is preferred

Excellent team leadership skills and leading teams experience

Excellent CDMA Radio Knowledge (Radio Propagation, Air Interface and Protocols, Cellular NW principle, Interference, Traffic estimation)

Good LTE or WCDMA Radio Knowledge (Radio Propagation, Air Interface and Protocols, Cellular NW principle, Interference, Traffic estimation)

Excellent understanding of RAN features and parameters.

Good knowledge of Planning tools

Knowledge of Propagation Model Tuning Knowledge of all 3G Network elements and their main characteristics

Good track record in engaging with customers

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks – Essential Functions

- Investigates employee issues and complaints and offers solutions to ensure timely and appropriate actions are taken.

- Develops and recommends solutions to a variety of employee relations issues.

- Provides separation information for third-party vendor to respond to unemployment claims. Attends unemployment hearings as needed. Prepares leadership to represent company at unemployment hearings.

- Work is directed by the senior manager of employee relations.

- Prepares reports and analyzes data in investigating concerns and problem resolution.

- Prepares communications related to employee events

- Assists leadership by planning and coordinating employee separations.

- Assists leaders by reviewing corrective action documents

- Assists with responses to outside federal and state agencies by researching complaints, analyzing data and drafting position statements.

- Researches legal employment issues as needed via internet and other available resources to stay informed and current.

Summary of Role:

The Store Manager is responsible for managing all store operations including a team of sales and sales support employees. The main focus for this position is driving sales of Cox Services while keeping a laser focus on efficient operations to ensure maximum profitability. The Store Manager will need to pro-actively monitor store revenues, store operational targets, customer satisfaction, inventory and shrink. This individual will also assess local competitors, their assortments, and pricing trends to ensure their store remains consumer relevant and competitively positioned.

The Store Manager is accountable for hiring, training, developing, and disciplining the store staff up to and including termination. This will require setting performance goals and objectives for the team as well as individual employees. Strong leadership skills are needed to ens ure objectives are met and high performance is achieved.

The success of the store will depend on the decisions made by the Store Manager. The operationally sound day-to-day decisions of the Store Manager will ensure that the store achieves sales and performance goals.

Core Responsibilities:

Sales Associate/Employee Development

Hires, trains, develops, and disciplines (up to and including termination) the sales staff in retail stores.

Sets appropriate individual performance goals and objectives for store employees

Facilitates weekly sales meetings to ensure sales associates are aligned to corporate initiatives, including customer and product strategies

Qualification Attributes:

* Associates degree in a related discipline or relevant work experience required. BA/BS is a plus.

* Minimum of 5-7 years of retail experience.

* Requires 3 years of retail management with supervisory experience.

* Must demonstrate prior success in managing and meeting sales and/or operating targets.

* Experience managing P&L/budgets required.

* Previous wireless retail experience preferred.

* Ability to make decisions to hire and develop a successful sales workforce.

* Strong leadership, delegation and coaching skills are required.

* Proven ability to appropriately manage in-store inventory and marketing.

* Ability to motivate others to ensure all employees are performing at their highest ability.

* Strong written and oral communication skills are required with a concentration in strong negotiation and presentation skills.

* Ability to manage store operations and manage time effectively.

* Willingness to work a flexible work schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Willingness to travel.

* Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite
