[1]T-Mobile USA surreptitiously pulled its new Sidekick Slide from store shelves late Friday night following a number of user complaints about the keyboard's inability to "slide" without restarting the phone [2]. Australian buyers of Motorola's Hiptop Slide had similar issues with their handsets.
Verizon Wireless launched two new phones from LG: the Venus (pic) [3] and the Voyager (pic) [4]. Both handsets sport a 2.0 megapixel camera, VZ Navigator (capability), a microSD memory slot and dual screen displays. The Voyager has an external touch-screen while the Venus has two external screens, with the bottom one featuring touch technology. Both are VCast-enabled as well.
