T-Mobile and Nokia announced an agreement to collaborate on new mobile web and social networking services, two months after T-Mobile denied [1] a plot to dump Nokia devices tied to the handset giant's Ovi mobile web service over concerns Ovi would cannibalize the operator's in-house content platform. Per terms of the deal, Nokia will customize its devices to integrate a dedicated suite of T-Mobile services, while the operator will offer the Ovi platform across a range of Nokia devices. The companies will also partner to enhance T-Mobile's MyFaves community service.
