Alcatel-Lucent and ip.access claimed the second and third spots in the company’s latest evaluation of worldwide femtocell box vendors.

The Vendor Matrix is an analytical tool developed by ABI Research to provide a clear understanding of vendors’ positions in specific markets.

Under "implementation," ABI Research scrutinized the following criteria: ecosystem partnerships for an end-to-end solution; market and RFP activity; the vendor’s ability to scale and commoditize quickly; its carrier relationships, and its overall financial and organizational health.
