RIM's Pearl aimed at consumers

The BlackBerry Pearl is Research In Motion's latest BlackBerry targeted at consumers. The Pearl is the first model to include a camera, music and video playback as well as expandable memory and is the thinnest Blackberry yet. The trackball below the screen replaces the traditional side-mounted thumb wheel--hence the name Pearl. T-Mobile USA--the operator that targets mostly consumers--has launched the product. The device is expected to sell for $200 with a two-year contract.
